Directions

Adults 18 years, of age and over: Take 1 capsule daily for at least 7 days and up to 14 days.

Swallow the capsule whole with water, with or without food. Do not crush, chew or open the capsule. Not intended for immediate relief. It may take a few days to achieve maximum results.

Do not take for more than 14 days unless directed by a doctor.

USAGE ADVICE The bottle contains a sealed container with silica gel desiccant. Keep the bottle tightly closed to protect from moisture.

New Nexium® 24HR Once Daily Dosing starts on the 3rd, 7th, and 14th day of your menstrual cycle, and continues for up to 14 days. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is conducting a nationwide review of its drug pricing model, known as the National Average Drug Price (NADP), to ensure that patients are paying the lowest price for drugs. The aim of this study was to compare the pricing and cost effectiveness of generic Nexium (esomeprazole magnesium) and brand-name esomeprazole tablets (omeprazole magnesium). The pricing analysis was conducted by the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) of the National Health Insurance Plan (NHP) program, which includes all prescription drugs in the Veterans Affairs Health Care System (VAHS). VA’s pricing analysis of Nexium and generic esomeprazole tablet is based on the price and the market value of each drug. The cost-effectiveness of these drugs is analyzed using a 2-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with a significance level (P) of 0.05.

To obtain information about the pricing of drugs for various uses, the National Average Drug Price (NADP), or price inflation, was analyzed. The results showed that the price of generic Nexium, the brand-name esomeprazole tablet, decreased by a mean of 20.7% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 12.9% (p < 0.001), respectively, while that of brand-name esomeprazole tablets increased by a mean of 19.8% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 8.6% (p < 0.001), respectively. The pricing of generic esomeprazole tablets (esomeprazole) increased by a mean of 16.9% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 18.6% (p < 0.001), respectively, while that of brand-name esomeprazole magnesium increased by a mean of 23.7% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 24.4% (p < 0.001), respectively. In contrast, the price of generic esomeprazole tablet increased by 6.5% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 4.8% (p < 0.001), respectively, while that of brand-name esomeprazole magnesium increased by a mean of 6.3% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 8.5% (p < 0.001), respectively.

The results showed that the price of brand-name esomeprazole tablets increased by an average of 8.6% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 7.5% (p < 0.001), while that of generic esomeprazole tablet increased by 6.1% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 8.2% (p < 0.001), respectively.

The results showed that the price of generic esomeprazole tablet increased by a mean of 18.6% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 24.3% (p < 0.001), while that of brand-name esomeprazole magnesium increased by 6.2% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 11.9% (p < 0.001), respectively. The results showed that the price of generic esomeprazole tablet increased by a mean of 13.4% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 21.3% (p < 0.001), respectively, while that of brand-name esomeprazole magnesium increased by a mean of 21.8% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 24.4% (p < 0.001), respectively.

The results showed that the price of brand-name esomeprazole tablet increased by 6.3% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 11.2% (p < 0.001), while that of generic esomeprazole tablet increased by 6.8% (p < 0.001) and by a mean of 9.8% (p < 0.001), respectively. The results showed that the price of brand-name esomeprazole magnesium increased by 4.
